Agrimony

Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) is a perennial herbaceous plant from the rose family (Rosaceae) and is native to the UK. It has a high content of astringent tannins and antioxidant flavonoids, which probably contribute to its traditional uses for digestive upset and liver issues, amongst many other uses. Professional herbalists often also find it indicated for stoic patients who find it hard to acknowledge their own pain. It is usually taken as an infusion ( herbal tea), and is often used in the recipes and tailormade mixes of our professional herbalists.
